Synopsis: La larga noche de Francisco Sanctis (2016) follows an ordinary office worker in 1970s Buenos Aires who is suddenly pulled into the shadows of Argentina’s dictatorship. Francisco Sanctis, a quiet man who has built a life of routine and caution, receives unexpected information: two people are about to be “disappeared” by the military regime. Almost against his will, he is compelled to leave his safe, predictable world and roam the city at night, deciding whether he has the courage—or the responsibility—to intervene.
