The Michael O. Leavitt Center for Politics and Public Service at Southern Utah University will host the Cedar City Council and Mayoral Election Debates on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in the Great Hall at the Hunter Alumni Center. A Meet and Greet with candidates will take place from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m., followed by the debates from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.The event will be streamed live on the Leavitt Center’s Facebook page, and an ad will appear in Iron County Today on July 24.
