 e Magazine. He is the author of two critical texts: Under the Bed\, Creepi
 ng: Psychoanalyzing the Gothic in Children’s Literature and Movies to Se
 e before You Graduate from High School. He is also the author of the young
  adult novel Fair Weather Ninjas and the gothic historical novel A Still a
 nd Awful Red. He currently teaches children’s literature\, film studies\
 , and young adult literature at Missouri Southern State University where h
