The Southern Utah University Commencement Ceremony celebrates SUU's graduating class of 2024. This ceremony is open to all graduates and their guests. Tickets are not required, but seating is limited. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and guests should be seated 30 minutes prior to the Processional of Graduates at 6:30 p.m. ADA accommodations are available for graduates and guests who request them.

Commencement Schedule

6:00 p.m. Procession Lineup • Upper Campus
Graduates from all of SUU's Academic Colleges should be dressed in cap and gown, and meet on the Upper Quad to participate in the traditional processional. Map of Lineup Locations

6:30 p.m. Graduation Processional • Upper Quad
The procession passes under the Carter Carillon and ends at the America First Event Center.

7:00 p.m. University Ceremony • America First Event Center (153 S. 800 W.)
The formal ceremony to confer degrees upon SUU's Class of 2024. This university-wide ceremony includes the keynote and student addresses, and the switching of tassels.
