About
Dixie Leavitt Business Building
Jeremy Waite grew up in the small town of Logandale, Nevada, as the third of six children. From an early age, Jeremy developed a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others—traits that have guided his personal and professional journey ever since.
Jeremy earned both his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his MBA from Southern Utah University (SUU), where he discovered his love for entrepreneurship and small business development. A self-proclaimed personal finance nerd and lifelong learner, Jeremy is passionate about empowering others to take control of their financial futures.
Throughout his career, Jeremy has worn many hats, from running a variety of small entrepreneurial ventures to serving as Controller for Indy RV. He later became the Outreach Manager for the SUU Business Resource Center and the Business Manager for SUU’s College of Engineering & Computational Sciences. Today, Jeremy serves as the Manager for the Cedar City Business & Innovation Center at Southwest Technical College, where he supports small businesses, entrepreneurs, and innovators in the community.
In addition to his work at Southwest Tech, Jeremy teaches pickleball classes at SUU as an adjunct instructor—combining his love of sports with his passion for teaching. He also helps run the local pickleball leagues. A true outdoors enthusiast, he loves being active and enjoys nearly any sport or athletic event.
Above all else, Jeremy treasures his family—his wife, Tarah, and their two children, Braxton and Macy. Whether he’s mentoring entrepreneurs, cheering at a local sporting event, or spending time with his family, Jeremy finds joy in helping people. He especially enjoys sharing what he’s learned about pickleball, entrepreneurship, and personal finance to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
