 ds. He later joined Strata Fund Services (now Alter Domus)\, a leading fun
 d administration firm. After earning his Ph.D.\, Dr. Curtis transitioned i
 nto academia as a professor of accounting\, where he contributed in multip
 le leadership roles—including salary adviser\, budget committee member\,
  and accounting program director. His academic research focused on valuati
 on and investor risk preferences. While in academia\, Dr. Curtis remained 
 active in the private sector\, serving as Controller\, CFO\, and CTO for s
 uccessful start-ups and investment funds. He is currently a partner at Sun
 belt Business Brokers of Utah\, where he leverages his financial expertise
  to guide buyers and sellers through complex business transactions.
