While pursuing her MBA and Masters in Accounting through Southern Utah University, Sara Workman couldn't help but notice the lack of business education being offered through her husband's medical school.  Knowing that professionals in many healthcare specialties tend toward private practice rather than seeking employment with a hospital or healthcare system (many of whom would be building their clinics while owing a significant amount in student debt) she decided to tailor her experience and education in a way that would best help her meet the unique needs of industry.  She gained work experience in public accounting and outsourced CFO firms, became a CPA and added a Master's Degree in Integrated Healthcare Management.  Sara Workman is now the owner of Workman CPA and CFO, an accounting and outsourced CFO firm that specializes in providing business services to privately owned healthcare clinics.  She is also a Lecturer of Accounting at Southern Utah University.
