Join us on June 26, 2026 for the Beverley Center Anniversary Celebration, a day-long commemoration of the Arts in Cedar City!

We are gathering at the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Center for the Arts to honor 65 years of the Utah Shakespeare Festival and 10 years of the Southern Utah Museum of Art. All housed within the beautiful Beverley Center, this celebration is a tribute to the creativity that defines our region.

  • 10:00 a.m. | Southern Utah Museum of Art Opens
    • Exhibitions include: Art from Abstract to Zion: Celebrating 10 Years of SUMA, The Play's the Thing: 65 Years of the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Carrying the Flame Forward: 40 Years of the Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games, Artistic Visions: A Timeline of The Beverley Taylor Sorenson Center for the Arts, and the Stillman Sculpture Court
  • 1:15 p.m. | See How They Run Play Orientation (Seminar Grove)
  • 2:00 p.m. | The Beverley Center Anniversary Celebration Begins
    • Food Trucks and Vendors (200 W)
    • Activities at SUMA
    • Live music on the SUMA Plaza
    • Utah Shakespeare Festival's production of See How They Run in the Randall L. Jones Theatre (tickets available at bard.org)
  • 4:30 p.m. | Public Celebration Presentation (Seminar Grove)
  • 5:00 p.m. | Final Friday Art Walk along University Boulevard/Center Street
  • 5:45 p.m. | The Beverley Center Activities & Street Party Continue
  • 6:45 p.m. | Hamlet Play Orientation (Seminar Grove)
  • 7:10 p.m. | The Greenshow: Stratford Night (Ashton Family Greenshow Commons)
  • 8:00 p.m. | Utah Shakespeare Festival's production of Hamlet in the Engelstad Shakespeare Theatre (tickets available at bard.org)
