Volonté is a French word meaning "the will and determination to achieve something, even when it is difficult or challenging," and is a perfect title to encapsulate the experience of all of this year's graduating BFA seniors, no matter their area of study. The Senior Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition showcases the culmination of each graduating student's time in the Department of Filmmaking, Art, and Design at SUU. The students' capstone projects will be on display, demonstrating their ability to visualize, develop, and create a cohesive body of work to kick-start their careers in the professional art world. This exhibit will include work from a variety of artistic disciplines: filmmaking, graphic design, illustration, photography, painting, drawing, and printmaking.

The Opening Reception for Volonté will be on March 31, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
